
Before the 2017 Comrades marathon, recovery was incredibly important to me. I was using the ice bath two to three times a week and could feel a very big difference in my legs. I recovered a lot faster after my hard sessions. It didn’t only help with quick recovery, but also helped with sorting out my niggles. I was struggling with tendonitis in my left foot and could not believe how quickly I recovered with the use of the ice bath. The Ice bath was a big contributor to my success this year and I can really recommend it as part of your training program. It will definitely form part of my build up to Comrades 2018. The ice bath will be a positive addition in the preparation for any type of race.
